Dr. Karim SERHAN's academic work includes over 100 scientific publications (research articles, book chapters, editorials, and peer-reviewed abstracts), in addition to research grants and patents. But what he is most proud of is the success of the numerous medical students that he had the opportunity and honor to serve as their mentor. Dr. Karim is recognized by his colleagues for his commitment to his patients, his compassionate care, his superior surgical skills, his dedication to his practice, and his innovative research mindset.
Dr. Karim SERHAN’s surgical journey included advanced training in surgery and in translational research, both in top American academic institutions. He thus developed a unique Surgeon-Scientist profile, allowing him to combine clinical care with the latest scientific advances to deliver the best possible care to his patients.
